Barrel's at brighton

The swell and offshores have been coming together in perfect harmony for over a 2 weeks now. I just havnt had a chance to get some good shots in between enjoying the 7 deg air temps, and 9 deg water temp, but here is a few petra snapped while i was getting amongst the BARREL FEST!!

This spot rarely works, it takes a pretty big swell and the right winds and as you can see it was perfection. A good twenty minute paddle and nobody around.

Thats right, thats snow.. i guess thats pretty usual for down south, but since this is the second time its snowed in the city this winter its pretty special. Probly should have got some logs out there, but i sat infront of the fire instead..

Bonus for the mountains though, almost 100cm base at hutt and lyford..
